Picture a family-run bakery, a bike workshop and a dental practice on the same street. All three get customers by word of mouth, and none has a website worth showing. Each of them is a potential client for a simple service: a professional site, built fast, then kept running.
How the service works
You build websites for local businesses, with AI doing much of the production under your supervision, and then offer a monthly maintenance plan. That plan is what makes the income recurring.
What you need
Code is only half the job. You will spend as much time talking to business owners as you do in an editor: understanding what they need and explaining why a modern site pays for itself. Basic sales and communication skills matter most. Design sense helps, and some HTML and CSS will make you faster.
Tools and costs
The setup is light. An AI assistant, an image generator and a code editor cover the production, and Cloudflare Pages publishes the finished sites for free. Any basic computer will do. You can start with no capital or put in up to €50. Running costs are around €10 a month, and you should plan on at least eight hours a week.
What to expect
Difficulty is moderate and the first client typically arrives in about 30 days. Around half of the work can be automated; the rest is yours: client calls, decisions and a final review of every site. Margins are high and competition is moderate. Most clients come from direct outreach by phone or WhatsApp and from local referrals.
Finding and closing clients takes real conversations, so that part of the business grows with your time. In return, you depend very little on third-party platforms, and you can work remotely or meet clients in person.
The numbers
Revenue is recurring and grows with each service package you add. Kairo's database lists typical monthly figures from €500 to €1,000 for a stable income, and €2,000 to €5,000 once the service scales with more clients.
